OUTPOURING ON CHARACTER - by Bill Hernandez

As a reminder  from Him, I believe the Lord is working on the depth of our relationship with Him in preparation for the next great outpouring of His Spirit. For decades there has been prophetic words about a coming revival that will be so powerful and amazing beyond anything we have experienced in history. For us to contain this, He is anchoring us in intimacy with Him. He is encouraging us to be fully honest and frank with Him in all things. He’s our best friend no matter what. Like it says in Proverbs 3:6, “In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Now, He is making it clear about how important it is to be candid with Him without fear of rejection since He knows it all anyway. As we do, He reveals His glory, His lovingkindness, His compassion, His patience, His empathy, His presence and all of who He is which is love. As this becomes clear to us, we become like Him. We become those things. We reflect His nature. We feel like Him, act like Him and think like Him.

This open communion with Him purifies our motives and our character. The next great move of His presence will be miracle upon miracle and He wants to make sure we understand that it all came from Him. To Him be the glory, and honor and power. If we are broken, have rejection issues and orphan spirits it would be easy to take the credit for what He does to shore up our low self esteem and inner conflicts. This is what He’s working on now. He wants to make sure that our brokenness doesn’t get in the way of what He means to accomplish. He want us to find all our comfort, meaning and security in our intimate relationship Him. Let nothing get in the way of this sacred, tender union.

Quality of relationship with Him takes time. We can accelerate it more or less, by full disclosure of every detail of what we think, what we do and what we feel by sharing it with Him every moment of the day. In this is peace, joy and confidence. This will be the landing strip of His outpouring to the world.

As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our wrongdoings from us.
Just as a father has compassion on his children,
So the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.For He Himself knows our form;
He is mindful that we are nothing but dust.
Psalms 103:12 - 14

- ...that if our heart condemns us, that God is greater than our heart,
and He knows all things.
I John 3:20

Welsh Revival (1904-05) Less than 20 people (17 people) gathered at Moriah Chapel October 31, 1904 when Evan Roberts preached. All present gave their lives to Christ. When these 17 people came to Christ, Roberts knew that the revival he had been praying his whole life for had come. In less than six months, over 100,000 people got saved and the entire nation was radically transformed. This later became known as the Welsh Revival and released impartation for the Azusa Street Revival. 2 Corinthians 3:7-12 in The Passion declares, “Even the ministry that was characterized by chiseled letters on stone tablets came with a dazzling measure of glory, though it produced death.
